Nothing is more lovely than an old brown leather belt – but if you do invest in one make sure that it is this one – there is no finer leather belt on the market!  This is the highest quality leather that we buy,  it is a full grained, vegetable tanned Italian leather, which will soften and improve with age and handling. The Italian tannery that we buy this from has many years of experience of hand producing beautiful leathers and they simply will not compromise on quality – vegetable tanned leathers use only plants and barks to prepare the leather for use which takes many months.  The tannery provides metal free tannage and 50% of their electric is produced by solar panels and so sustainability is a key issue for them.
