20mm Skinny Leather Belts

SKINNY BELTS

Many of our customers will only wear our skinny leather belts; they like the fine look of them but still want the function of a belt to keep their jeans or trousers in place! This 20mm skinny belt is made from vegetable tanned Italian cowhides and comes in a range of colours, with the tan and grey ostrich proving the most popular colours. The belts are leather lined and stitched and come with a fixed brushed silver buckle or gold buckle. One of the benefits of the thin belt is its simplicity; hence we do not produce this belt with a detachable buckle. The classic smooth oval buckle looks good and is quite understated, and so rather than being the centrepiece of an outfit, it provides subtle function.

HOW TO WEAR A SKINNY BELT

We are often asked this, and I do think that it can be worn exactly as a normal belt! But a women’s skinny belt can also be very useful on dresses or over pashminas which need some cinching in, or a line of a contrast colour to add some interest to an outfit. Many designer ladies belts are extremely subtle but are beautifully made and pleasing to wear due to the quality of the materials. They are also great for wearing on lighter weight summer clothes when a thicker belt may be too cumbersome. Linen trousers, skirts and shorts look great with a handmade skinny belt, and avoids the empty belt loops; they are there for putting a belt through.

PYTHON SLIM BELT

We produce the classic plane coloured belts as well as 2 or 3 different python prints. These will make a good contribution to clothing that is not patterned – python and multi-patterned clothing are best avoided!

SKINNY WAIST BELT

Sometimes dresses will have tiny keepers for putting a belt through, but they are small, and the slim belt will fit through these. Some makes of trouser produce very slim belt loops that you cannot fit the ordinary 30mm and 40mm belt through – a skinny belt is a sophisticated wardrobe addition that you will reach for time and again.
