We only use full grain suedes for our belts, this is very important as the majority of suede you see on the high street are split leathers, where the skin has been split to create more material, at less cost, but producing a leather that does not have the substance of a full grain leather – a short lived option! We produce a 30mm navy suede also and both gold and silver buckles work really well with navy. Navy suede is often thought to be smarter than the navy ostrich which is also available. A quick suede brush to rejuvenate the fibres every once in a while is all of the care that it needs.
