Silver Mexican Buckle With Turquoise Stone

I so love the classic Mexican style mix of silver and turquoise, and the design of this turquoise belt buckle was rather dictated by the size of the real turquoise stones I liked – it had to be a real gemstone and turquoise is found in dry climates, Mexico and Tibet being two places that we get them from.  Each mine will produce different stones as it is a natural material with intrinsic variations.  It is the birthstone for December and is said to guarantee the fidelity of those in love!  The stone is hand set in this oval pewter plated buckle and it has a very slight curve on it to ensure it sits well on your belt.
